to participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the aims and purposes of the American Legion
to promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members who share the same interest.
to use our Association to promote and support programs of the American Legion.
The American Legion Riders is not a M/C, and does not practice M/C rules or regulations. The American Legion Riders is family oriented, just as is its parent organization the American Legion.

Membership: There are but two requirements to become a member of the Post 514 American Legion Riders Association. (You must meet both A & B). Complete Application. Please print it. Microsoft Doc. A) You must be a current paid member of the American Legion, Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion. B) You must own a motorcycle of at least 350cc in size or be a legal spouse of an owner who is an American Legion Riders Association member. C) The Willard Ohio chapter will allow "honorary members" or "chapter supporters". The honorary type memberships do not constitute actual voting membership in the American Legion Riders. These memberships are of a nature as to provide recognition to those who show strong support to the Willard American Legion Riders Chapter. These honorary members must still meet the requirements of Section 1A and be current members of the American Legion, Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion. Furthermore, all articles of clothing that contain the American Legion Riders emblem must contain the word "Honorary". Charter Period: The Chartering period for the Post 514 Chapter of the American Legion Riders shall end on December 31, 2005. All those who have turned in the required application and paid the required annual dues of $12.00, shall be known as "Charter Members." Dues: Annual dues shall become payable beginning January 1st of each year and shall entitle the member to all benefits and privileges as a member of the Post 514 Chapter Member. A member must be in good standing with their associated American Legion, Auxiliary, or Sons of the Legion membership before their annual American Legion Riders membership will be accepted and acknowledged. |
